Kingston 4-Paws Service Dogs

Kingston 4 Paws Service Dogs is local organization that attained Canadian registered charitable status on January 1, 2015. The Founder and President Elizabeth Bailey, a long time volunteer puppy raiser with a number of other guide and service dog organizations, recognized a need in the Southeastern Ontario Region.

This small but mighty organization thrives thanks to its many volunteers, a dynamic training team and a very dedicated Board of Directors. All who are paramount in the successful execution of the K4Paws Mission to provide trained service dogs and their continued handling support to physically and emotionally challenged persons and their families, assisting them to become more independent in their Southeastern Ontario communities.

We could not possibly imagine a better city in which to operate. Kingston residents and businesses are second to none. We have experienced amazing support and developed so many community partnerships that make it possible to train in a wide variety of locations and environments, which is so very important in raising and developing exceptional Service Dogs.

The work is challenging, emotional and overwhelmingly rewarding. Seeing the connection between dog and handler evokes pride and a deep sense of purpose. What could be better than watching lives changed for the better, 4 paws at a time.
