Symphony Spa & Yoga
Symphony Spa & Yoga has been in business in Kingston since 2018. Its 22 employees are all working to make things run like a dream in all different areas of the spa.
The owners, Phil and Melanie, are a husband-and-wife team who had a vision of helping clients feel their absolute best in all areas of life; a space where they can come in to renew mind, body, and soul. They wanted to create a business around the concept of a “symphony of wellness”: when at the Spa, you are greeted by wellness on a 360-degree spectrum, and a feeling that they have everything you are looking for.
Symphony Spa & Yoga offer a lot of truly unique services and offerings. It’s hard to choose a favourite. As per Phil: “If I had to pick one it would be our Staycation packages! The Staycation Packages allow clients a little escape from whatever they are facing, however they meet us, through a very special spa experience. They often feature body wraps, massages, and something tasty to drink, based on the package.”
Phil and Melanie love serving people, and making people feel like the best, most beautiful version of themselves, inside and out.
The reason they love Kingston is the people, and what its diverse population brings to the city. It offers so much year-round in the world of arts, culture and entertainment, and the locally owned businesses are the heart of our community.
They couldn’t picture living anywhere else - Kingston is fulfilling.
Phil and Melanie love the industry they are in because they make people feel great about themselves. According to them: “You never know what exactly brings someone into the spa, you just start off knowing they need pampering. You often learn more about their story as the appointment progresses. Sometimes, they’re in because they simply like keeping up their aesthetic. Other times, they’re at the spa for some self-love /a pick me up after a big life event, etc. You learn a lot and learn the real power of what we do here at Symphony, which is cultivating wellness.”
