RECEE

Welcome to recee, Kingston’s newest Thrift boutique. It’s packed with special gifts, unique home decor and retro home furnishing. Treasure hunters love the vintage, modern and one of a kind “finds” tucked away in every corner of the boutique.

The boutique quietly opened just before Halloween and is officially in the middle of its Grand Opening, No Tax event, which lasts until December 31.

“This is my passion,“ said Terry Telford, the owner and founder of recee. “I started selling online about five years ago and loved everything about it. I love finding unique pieces that often have a story and keeping that story alive. It’s also very fulfilling to upcycle products and keep them in circulation instead of filling the landfills.”

“I love this city,” said Telford. “It’s the perfect blend of a small town atmosphere mixed with culture and lots of amenities. And as a member of the community, I love giving back, so starting in January, we’ll be working with a new charity each month to help them with their fundraising efforts.”

And very soon, recee will be showcasing work from local artists. “I love the hidden talent here in our community,” said Telford. “I want to help promote the artisans in the community by featuring some of their work in a gallery style setting in the boutique.”

Recee is only a couple months old, but it’s quickly becoming an active community member and Telford looks forward to doing more to work with community partners.
