While Spearhead has been around since 2011 they took the bold step in 2018 to build their own brewery, tasting taproom and retail store in Kingston. It is a friendly and welcoming community, and they are loving it here.
They have a great team of 30 employees who have joined them on their journey and who also believe that good enough is never enough. Their mantra, “Beer Without Boundaries,” is stronger than ever. Each release is carefully thought out by their father and son brew team, using time-honoured traditional methods with a series of non-traditional ingredients, resulting in their signature Spearhead style.
Some of our favourite products are: their flagship Hawaiian Style Pale Ale, Queen of Wheat and the recent release Local Lager in partnership with the Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce for the Love Kingston campaign supporting local businesses.
In addition to delicious brews, they also make a non-alcoholic, hop infused sparkling botanical water; Akwa.
